Getting dirty and fixing up a Range Rover for a mate – this is a nice contrast to online digital marketing and business development. I’ll add it to my list of hobbies… composing music, playing football, travelling, writing, and fixing Land Rovers. Brilliant.

In the middle of post-production to promote a new product being released by Manfrotto… some great vision and sound effects are being developed. I look out the window and it has just stopped raining. Misty clouds are floating up from the rainforest and following the contours of the mountains and the light is beautiful. It is a privilege to be mixing sound for a global brand while being inspired by the natural beauty of Tropical North Queensland…

Just finished audio-post for videos for the Australian Institute of Marine Science, some great videos too, and started my post-grad, which is an interesting experience getting back into the university environment. Will help a start-up get up and running and will keep you updated – a very useful business that you will want to engage.

March is off to a flying start with the application for the ABC Open Producer position submitted, www.michaelbromage.com to find out more, and the release of Refugee of Love’s March chapter, www.refugeeoflove.com/chapters/0310/05_0310.html, which includes multimedia about Africa. There’s a few more multimedia and storytelling projects in the pipeline as well as business development so I’ll keep you updated as we go.

New Projects on the horizon

Some good multimedia projects are in the works and I’m especially intrigued by Mark Scott’s ABC Open program. It’s terrific that the ABC are encouraging story-telling and are putting multimedia producers in place to help regional communities share their knowledge, ideas, and tell their stories. I will definitely get involved! Crossing continents

Welcome to the new Adventure Blog, part of my portfolio website. The past six months has been a joy as I relax at home and decompress from my recent global adventure and work on my book. Feel free to browse or get in contact.

I have now been back in Australia for six months and it still feels nice to be home. Nevertheless adventures continue with a road trip through Queensland, two outback expeditions with the Far North Queensland Landrover Owners Club, a fishing trip up on The Cape, a photo shoot with pretty people, learning how to make baklava, painting a building to be consistent with a business brand, a film shoot for The World’s Best Job, and catching up with friends and family in Brisbane, Clermont, Townsville, and Cairns. As well as these activities, you will be happy to know I am making time to work on my book as the global release date is approaching fast, so stay tuned!
